My Health and Wellness journey first began with an apprenticeship that began in 2010 working with a Holistic Practitioners whose background was as a Native American Shaman and Doctor of Cellular Biochemistry. This left me wanting to learn more. I decided to go back to school for my Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness achieved April 2018. During this time, I also became a Reiki Master.
Throughout my educational journey, my grandparents were living with me. My grandfather had a rare genetic form of cancer; carcinoid cancer as well as colorectal cancer. My grandmother had COPD, Type 2 Diabetes, and Dementia. Seeing what they went through living with disease, it fueled my passion even more to help people lower their risk of disease through preventative medicine/healthy living.
I have a huge sense of adventure. I love traveling and exploring new places. I make the outdoors my gym; hiking, mountain biking, trail running, kayaking, skiing, and most recently learning to kite board.
