My Health and Wellness journey first began with an apprenticeship that began in 2010 working with a Holistic Practitioners whose background was as a Native American Shaman and Doctor of Cellular Biochemistry. This left me wanting to learn more. I decided to go back to school for my Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness achieved April 2018. During this time, I also became a Reiki Master.

Throughout my educational journey, my grandparents were living with me. My grandfather had a rare genetic form of cancer; carcinoid cancer as well as colorectal cancer. My grandmother had COPD, Type 2 Diabetes, and Dementia. Seeing what they went through living with disease, it fueled my passion even more to help people lower their risk of disease through preventative medicine/healthy living.

I have a huge sense of adventure. I love traveling and exploring new places. I make the outdoors my gym; hiking, mountain biking, trail running, kayaking, skiing, and most recently learning to kite board.

The past six months of working with Courtney have been amazing! I wasdiagnosed with lymphedema (bilateral swelling in both feet and legs)
and I was 100lbs overweight and was in need to change my life around.
Integrative methods are what I needed. With her help I've become more
conscious of how the food I eat affects my health (naturally grown is
better) and portion control. I've increased my water intake to 100oz a
day and pack breakfast and lunch at home. I'm currently down 30lbs
(285lbs to 255lbs), the swelling in my lower extremities has decreased
drastically, I've completed two 5k walks and I have more energy. Being
able to have a better quality of life has meant the world to me. I'm
so thankful for Courtney! Her patience, attentiveness and guidance in
helping me along the process (even on the though days) has kept me
motivated. I would definitely recommend her as a health coach for my
family and friends.
