Hi! I’m Emily, health and wellness coach.
My clients and I work together to tackle health and wellness in all aspects of their lives…and to make it fun along the way! I strive to help my clients realize that making healthy choices doesn’t have to be hard or boring, and work to connect them to deeper reasons for making a healthier shift. Our focus is on creating healthy habits that will last, not just a quick-fix weight loss.
Sessions with me include learning about a variety of concepts from all areas of wellness, as well as practice exercises to help integrate the learned info into your life. Meditations, introspective questions, writing exercises, and hand outs all come into play.
Clients leave each session with one to four action steps to start integrating into their life for the next week. Action steps are as big or as little as the client can handle that week; so if this whole process sounds overwhelming, don’t worry, we’ll take it one step at a time.
My professional background is widely varied, with experience in the non-profit sector, yoga instruction, art world, construction, and lots of coffee serving over the years. My goal in my career is to be of service to others, helping them in whatever way I can. In my free time, I love taking adventures, exploring nature, dancing, seeing live music, creating, and wearing glitter whenever possible.
I found my way to health coaching a couple of years ago. I found myself in an exhausted, stressed out, “blah” feeling phase. Despite exercising regularly, I was gaining weight. I thought I was doing things right, why did I feel so icky!?!? Can you relate?
