I have spent the last 15 years working in mental health, mostly on inpatient acute units. I have worked with a diverse population of people of all ages with a variety of mental health issues, including, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, mood disorders, and eating disorders. The last 7 years I have had an emphasis on eating disorders.
I am so passionate about treating the whole person. Over the years I have worked with so many intelligent, wonderful individuals and wanting to see them thrive has been my drive and motivation.
I began coaching because it is so important to me to treat the WHOLE person! We are not bits and pieces, true healing involves all aspects of us; mind, body and spirit.
I am fascinated with nutrition and how healthy eating heals a wide variety of problems. That being said, I am ANTI-DIET! I have no interest in the quick fix that will inevitably set you up for failure. I am all about lasting sustainable change, one small step at a time, that leads to true transformation. I practice what I preach.
So when I say meditate, move your body, do breath work, yoga, eat nutritious food, have fun, be creative, love yourself and get plenty of rest, I’m doing it right along with you.
