Why Do I Need A Coach?
“Why do I need a coach?” is a question I get asked a great deal. And in all honesty, the answer is: you don’t. You have all the tools already within you to get you to where you desire to be. However, more often than not, a coach can get you there better, quicker, and without the stress of you trying to do it alone and find your own way in an area you have not navigated before.
It’s kind of like a GPS. You don’t really need one to get to your destination. However, (when the thing works properly!) it gets you to “point B” more efficiently and allows you to rest in confidence the entire way. You still do all of the driving; as good as the GPS may be, it will not drive for you. The power is within you, sometimes you just need someone who can guide you along the way.
I am a former scholarship-athlete and current athlete to date. I still underestimate the necessity of my coach. She sees things that I cannot see, can pinpoint areas of improvement that I would have missed, and encourages me to build my confidence in what and how I am doing. I give her all of the credit for my success(s). I run the races, I must put in the time, effort, and work, but she takes the stress off of me; if I just trust in her, I can rest in confident assurance that I will succeed because she knows what she is doing, and more importantly, I know she cares about me as a person. That is probably the biggest and best thing about having a coach- you get a lifelong friend. Someone who guides you, encourages you, and believes in you. Someone who is always there and ready to help you get where you dream to go.
And that is what we are here to do for you! If you let us, we will be your coaches and biggest fans along your route to success. For it is only then, when you succeed, that we succeed too.
